Tony Ely is a 22 year US Army veteran.  Most of his career was spent in US Army Special Operations.  During his time in the army he served in the following units 1st Ranger Bn, 5th Ranger Training Brigade, 82d Airborne Division, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, and 1st Aviation Brigade.  Additionally, he held two different instructor assignments during his time; Ranger Instructor and SERE Instructor. 

He has participated in combat operations in Panama, Afghanistan and Iraq.   Upon retirement from the US Army, he became a Department of Defense armed contractor in Iraq and was looking for missing US and Coalition service members.

He has been shooting competitively since 1993.  Tony has participated in a multitude of National, Sectional, State and local USPSA and 3-gun competitions.  He currently holds an “A” class rating in USPSA. Additionally, he was one of the match directors and winner for 2007 and 2008 Ft. Campbell Special Operations 3-Gun Match.
