Level III - Intermediate Practical Handgun Skills

This course is for the intermediate level shooter and extends much of the techniques acquired from the Level II course with more advanced learning and shooting drills.  A student will learn the following: advanced marksmanship, shooting on the move, live-fire in low light conditions, close proximity shots, multi-tasking while shooting, engaging multiple threats, target identification, timed and competitive drills, and shooting behind barricades.  

The course length is approximately 6 hours held weekdays.

This course is intended for an intermediate to advance skill level shooter who is looking to improve or refresh their skills and shooting ability.  Ideal for law enforcement officers, security professionals, competitive shooters, or the armed citizen who seeks continual improvement in their defensive shooting ability.

Requirements:

 

  • Reliable handgun
  • Carry Holster (no cross draw, ankle or shoulder holsters allowed)
  • Two magazines / speed loaders and mag pouch
  • Comfortable attire
  • 350-400 rounds of ammunition

 

Prerequisite:  Either attended the Level II course or be able to illustrate solid defense shooting tactics.  Student needs to bring holster or purse either he or she intends to carry their firearm in a concealed manner.
